A short, specific enquiry lets us give a more precise first answer. You do not need technical drawings or a final budget. A few plain facts about the space and the programme are enough to begin.
Tell us where the studio is or will be, roughly how large the room is and whether it was built for broadcast. List any cameras, mixers, microphones or lighting you already have, even if you plan to replace them. Photographs of the room are welcome if you have them. If the space is not yet chosen, say so and describe what you are considering.
Explain what kind of programme you plan: a news bulletin, a one-to-one interview or a panel with several guests. Say how many presenters and guests will be on set and whether the show is live or recorded. The number of cameras you expect to use is helpful, though we can advise if you are unsure. Tell us how often you intend to broadcast.
Give us your target date for going on air, or the date by which the work must be finished. A rough budget range lets us suggest what is realistic and what could be phased. If you only need one service, such as lighting or an acoustic survey, tell us which. We reply with a written quotation, and nothing proceeds until you have confirmed it.
