vogueza aims to make vogueza.org usable on any device, in any browser and with any assistive technology. This statement sets out what has been done, which shortcomings remain and how to report a problem.
Our commitment
At vogueza, accessible pages are part of everyday maintenance rather than an extra. Each new page and each change of design is checked so that text stays readable, the menu can be used without a mouse and no information depends on a single visual cue. The statement applies to vogueza.org only.
Reporting a barrier
If you encounter a barrier on this website, or cannot obtain information that you require, please inform us by email at hello@vogueza.org or by telephone on 01305 248617. It helps if you identify the page, describe what happened and mention the browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to respond within five working days.
Conformance
Our goal is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We describe the site as partially conformant, because a few elements still fall short of individual criteria; pages are reviewed regularly and problems are fixed as they are found.
What we do
The website uses semantic HTML with a clear heading structure, one main heading per page and link texts that make sense on their own. Navigation and main content are marked as separate regions, each page states its language for screen readers, and images that carry information have text alternatives.
Text, links and buttons are shown with a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against their background. Sizes are set in relative units, so text can be enlarged in the browser without content being cut off, and links, menus and form fields can be used with the keyboard alone.
Limitations we know of
Several illustrations are generic, and their alternative text names the subject without describing it in detail.
Preparation of this statement
This statement is dated 28 October 2026 and is based on a self-assessment by vogueza, not on an external audit. We tested the navigation, the contact form and the main page types ourselves with a keyboard, browser zoom and a screen reader, and we review the text once a year and whenever the website is rebuilt.
